General Education

A core group of courses that are typically required of all associate and baccalaureate degree-level students, regardless of their major.

Graduate Program

A program leading to a master’s degree or doctoral degree; advanced study generally following a bachelor’s degree.

Grading Rubric

A measurement tool used by a teacher or professor to assess work from a student on a predefined grading scale (usually Excellent to Poor).

Graduate Student

A student who holds a bachelor’s degree or above and is taking courses at the post baccalaureate level. They may or may not be enrolled in graduate program.
